It's been nearly a year since my last journal entry, and I've created no new illustrations in that time to submit for your approval or disdain. I have learned much and grown spiritually in ways none could imagine. My life has changed so drastically that I am no longer the person I was. There is no way I can impart the wisdom I've gained to anyone through this crude tool known as the internet, though I wish I could. I know that humans have nearly destroyed this planet as a life support system through their utter greed, and they think they can just go on doing it unhindered until nothing is left. What's more, they don't even care. The ones in power have lost all semblence of love and compassion for their fellow beings, not to mention all the other forms of life assembled on this good Earth. As much as I love all you humans, I now realize you don't deserve this beautiful planet. Humans have turned out to be poor stewards indeed! Yet, in the face of all the unspeakable crimes he has committed in the name of greed, I still have faith in mankind. You have a chance to change things and make it right again. Don't let your epitaph read: "It was a good Earth, but we were too greedy and lazy to save it."

Life is what we make it, and the world is what we make it. The eyes of the cheerful and of the melancholy man are fixed upon the same creation; but very different are the aspects which it bears to them.

I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again.
